State of emergency in Florida as Tropical Storm Erika nears


The hurricane season has been on use for a while, but it has been slow.  But, as September approaches, so does the first storm that could affect the US.  And although this storm does not appear to likely be a threat to Mississippi, I mean “that land mass between alabama and louisiana”, there are still a few things that we can all do to be prepared for any emergency situation, be it hurricanes, tornados, severe thunderstorms, earthquakes, snow storms, or meteor strikes.

Please take a few minutes to look at the links in this post and make sure you and your family are prepared for emergency situations.  Yes, even meteor strikes!!
