Today’s interesting tech item concerns Windows 10, as the picture above tends to indicate. Now I have not yet upgraded to Windows 10, now have I progressed at all beyond Windows 7. All it means is that I have not yet made the move, NOT that I do not intend to. Normally I am an early adopter of new technology. Fortunately this time around, I held back, mainly due to the fact I have an older PC, and really need to get a new unit rather than updating the software.
But I digress. It seems that Windows is doing like every other software application, is constantly updating the software because in their rush to get it out, they did not get all the bugs fixed. But now, it seems with every update that Windows 10 deploys, the update installs itself, AND removes some of your all ready loaded and working software, INCLUDING anti-virus software. THAT is not good and totally UNACCEPTABLE.
So if you have already made the move to Windows 10, read this article, and see if some of your software has already been removed, and what you can do about it. If you HAVE NOT made the move to Windows 10, PLEASE read EVERYTHING you can about this system before making the move.
