As an amateur photographer, I am always looking for ways to improve my images.  The best way to do that is to get feedback and critiques of my work.  Yes, I know folks hate to put their work out because someone may not give 100% positive feedback.  But you can always start by honestly critiquing your own work first.  Check out this article, then see what you can do to improve what you do.
