It’s humpday and what a better way to start the downhill slide than getting the news that Microsoft is ending support for older versions of Internet Explorer.  Why is this an important notice?  Well, if you are a user of Canvas by Instructure, you know they only support the latest 2 versions of any web browser.    This means that since they are going with Edge as the replacement for Internet Explorer, you may soon find yourself with a browser that Canvas will not function properly with.

Also, Microsoft announced yesterday that they are doing away with support for Windows 8 after only three years.  So there’s lot’s of sunshine from the world of Mircosoft today.  Share your thoughts on what your favorite browser is if you like.

More later.
