How To Write Microsoft Access SQL Queries From Scratch

It’s a chilly Friday here in Mississippi, and I have been talking to a friend who had a bunch of database questions this morning.  Now I will be honest with you:  I am NOT a database expert, and I did not spend the night at a Holiday Inn Express last night.  But I do know just enough about databases and database management to be dangerous.

Which is why, when I ran across this article, I decided I needed to share it with folks.  Microsoft Access is a relational database application that most folks are scared to death of, but is fairly easy to learn to use.

This article teaches you the basics of writing queries in Access that can be used with SQL quite easily.  It also covers some basics of databases, and has several links to some good tutorials.

So if you are looking for something to help you in the classroom, or just something to pass the day until Saturday arrives, look no further than here.
