The world is rapidly becoming the turf of terminology. It harkens back to a time when someone once asked what the definition of the word “is” is. It seems that everyone is looking for ways to wiggle out of good faith contracts agreed upon BEFORE someone else figured out a way to make more money based on using new terminology.
Verizon is just the latest mobile carrier to redefine the term “unlimited”. Apparently with Verizon, unlimited means 200 GB per month. Not exactly what Merriam-Webster set forth in their dictionary many moons ago.
I am not gonna get bogged down here. Just wanted to share this article with you so if you are a grandfathered in Verizon user with an unlimited data contract, please be aware of the changing of the terms.
